Become the leader in the southern area among its institutions of higher education, presenting and developing projects under the framework of the UPR-Ponce 21st Century Workforce Academy, as a contribution to fulfill the need of a high skilled and visionary workforce which contributes positively in the economic development of the area, as well as nationwide and
worldwide.
Our Commitment
The commitment of the External Resources and Development Office is to work intensively and systematically in a process that we call “pooling of available but untapped resources”, broaden the possibilities to obtain support of federal, state and local agencies as well as of the private sector to develop a diversity of sponsored projects. They will increase the research opportunities for faculty and students, enhance the teaching-learning process, the quality of life of the members of this University community and the society, as well as the physical, and technological infrastructure.
