Program's Mission and Goals
The Mission:
To prepare competent, ethical, and socially responsible civil engineering technicians with advanced knowledge and technical skills in the use of specialized equipment and software for testing materials, cost estimating, and surveying, enabling them to effectively support civil engineers, architects, and professional land surveyors in the construction industry.
The Objectives:
The students in this program can:

Use your math, science, engineering, and tech knowledge to tackle civil engineering problems that need just a bit of theory but a lot of hands-on know-how.

Use written, spoken, and visual communication in both technical and everyday settings; find and use the right technical resources.

Carry out, analyze, and interpret the results of standard field and lab tests on engineering materials.
